In Town: Cathedral Green
Exeter's impressive Cathedral and tudor surrounds is a beautiful enclave. Enjoy a traditional Devon cream tea at Eat on the Green or a glass of wine and a bite at the Ivy.
In Town: Exeter Quay / Double Locks
Exeter Quay is a great spot for an evening bite (try the Waterfront for great pizza) or to launch into an activity: A walk along the River Exe to Double Locks is well rewarded with the local Otter Ale.
Further Afield: Dartmoor National Park
Only really accessible for the drivers, Dartmoor boasts c1000 sq/km of heath, tor, valley, wild horses and adventure. Depending on your own preferences, likely 30 mins drive from Town.
Further Afield: Topsham
Quaint estuary town a short drive / train from Exeter Central, enjoy a Fish and Chips at the Passage House and check out the antique stores along the famous high street, sampling local Inns along the way.
At Uni: The Nando's Arena
Where it all began. Unless you're particularly interested in looking at a hockey astro you can give this one a miss. Nice walk through campus though all the same!
