Exeter Quay is a great spot for an evening bite (try the Waterfront for great pizza) or to launch into an activity: A walk along the River Exe to Double Locks is well rewarded with the local Otter Ale.
Only really accessible for the drivers, Dartmoor boasts c1000 sq/km of heath, tor, valley, wild horses and adventure. Depending on your own preferences, likely 30 mins drive from Town.
Quaint estuary town a short drive / train from Exeter Central, enjoy a Fish and Chips at the Passage House and check out the antique stores along the famous high street, sampling local Inns along the way.
Where it all began. Unless you're particularly interested in looking at a hockey astro you can give this one a miss. Nice walk through campus though all the same!
