We both started working in the ER at Erlanger in August of 2021. I (Holly), very quickly noticed Marcus. It all started when we rode the shuttle to the hospital in the mornings. I thought he was cute, but he had a girlfriend at the time, so I let it rest. It was in August of 2022 when Marcus walked into work wearing a beige (one of my favorite colors) t-shirt, that I decided I needed to investigate yet again. My research showed he was now single, so I alerted a fellow friend and co-worker of my interest. Her and several other co-workers decided to take matters into their own hands. Next thing I know, Marcus is aware that I like him, and I am mortified. Well, obviously it ended up working out. After a few grueling, awkward shifts together, we decided to start talking more seriously. After a week of face timing while he visited family in New Hampshire, we finally got to hang out in person. We met up at the riverwalk, and 10 unintentional miles and bloody feet later, we had discovered there was something special between the two of us. After several more hangouts, Marcus officially asked me to be his girlfriend. And well, I would say from there things went alright between the two of us. 8 months later, we were engaged. Marcus proposed to me at Rainbow Falls where we went on our second date, and with no hesitation I said yes! We are getting married in November of this year and could not be more excited. We can't wait to share this special day with each and every one of you!
