Mac and Holly met on Hinge in 2023—because between their busy careers, neither had much time to find love “in the wild.” Taking a chance on the app turned out to be the best decision they could have made. Their first date was at Aura Rooftop, where Mac immediately won Holly over by planning something he knew she’d love. From that night on, everything just clicked. They’ve since watched just about every Alabama and South Carolina football game together, Mac has been (successfully) convinced to become a Yankees fan, they’ve made it through every episode of CSI, and Sunday night Scrabble has become a favorite tradition. Mac proposed at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, a place that had already become special to them after a trip the year before. It’s now their annual getaway, where they enjoy experiencing the city in every season. As the big day draws closer, they can’t wait to celebrate with their favorite people and begin this next chapter of their lives together.
