Our ceremony and reception will take place indoors at the Elk's Lodge in Washington, PA. The address is 138 E Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
Our ceremony will begin punctually at 4:30pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. The doors will close at 4:15, after which time entry will be denied until cocktail hour.
There is plenty of free parking in the lot at the Elk's and a small lot is also available across the street, as needed.
Our venue is 30 miles from the Pittsburgh International Airport. We will also reserve a block of hotel rooms at a nearby hotel that can be booked at a discounted rate. More information to follow closer to the wedding.
We'd love to see you all dressed up! However, there is no formal dress code as we want our guests to feel comfortable. Our suggestion is cocktail attire (semi-formal). Please avoid the following colors: white, ivory, tan/beige, and green.
We prefer an unplugged ceremony, so we ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. After that, snap away and share any memories to our joint photo album or using our wedding hash-tag (coming soon). We'd love to re-live the day through your eyes!
While we love the little ones, we are keeping our wedding strictly an adult-only celebration (except for our nieces/nephews that have already been asked to be a part of the ceremony). We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
If your invitation includes "and guest", then yes! Otherwise, while we wish we could have everyone present on our special day, space/budget limitations only allow us to accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation. Therefore, seating, meal, and drink accommodations will only be provided for those guests formally invited. Thanks for understanding!
Yes! The drinks are on us, the hangover is on you! Please drink responsibly. Please also note that outside drinks are strictly prohibited at our venue. (The bar will be open until a certain price point. While we don't anticipate reaching that, it would be good to have some cash around just in case the party gets a little crazy.)
We are required to provide a final guest count to our vendors by a certain date. As such, if you do not RSVP on time, you will be marked as "not attending". We will miss you, but hope to get together soon!
If you are not sure you are able to make it, please hold off on your RSVP until you have a more concrete answer (up to 4 weeks prior to the wedding). With a family as large as ours, we are relying heavily on our RSVP's to ensure proper accommodations are made and that our vendors receive an accurate count.
We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking/vaping on the property out of respect for our venue, the bride and groom, and our guests. We want everyone to be comfortable and there is plenty of time for that after our celebration. Thank you for understanding!
See the Home page for a lineup of potential line dances we will be doing!!
Both the bride and the groom will be participating in the dollar dance. If you wish to participate, bring a dollar or two and meet us on the dance floor!
