Question
Where is the wedding?
Answer
We'll be having our ceremony at Delta United Church on Ottawa St, in Hamilton Ontario. After pictures, we'll meet you all at The Gasworks for dinner and a reception. Check the "Schedule" page for full addresses and times.
Question
What can I expect during and after the ceremony?
Answer
We're getting married at Delta United Church. Delta is a welcoming, LGBTQ friendly (obviously) church. Guests will be seated on wooden pews with cushions available. The sanctuary, where we will be getting married, is wheelchair accessible. Following the ceremony, immediate family and wedding party will remain at Delta for photos. We invite our guests to check out the "Things to Do" tab of our website for some handpicked recommendations to kill time before our reception begins at 5:00.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
Click on the "RSVP" link on our website. You will be prompted to provide your full name, if you're on our guest list you should then be prompted to RSVP. Please make sure to RSVP for both the ceremony and the reception (or just one if we've talked about that). Please reach out to either of us if you have any issues.

What's the dress code?
Answer
We want our guests to feel comfortable and dressed-up, whatever that means to them. Our wedding theme is going to be "celestial." Our wedding colours are navy and gold and our decor will be sparkly, starry and shiny. We would love if you also took the opportunity to go all out and dress for the theme, there is no such thing as being overdressed or doing too much!

What's the parking situation like?
Answer
Delta United Church: There is no parking lot, but there is plenty of free street parking around the church, as well as municipal lots within a 10 minute walk of the church. The Gasworks: Parking lot can accommodate up to 60 vehicles, we anticipate that this will be enough parking to accommodate all of our guests

What's the public transportation situation like?
Answer
Delta United Church is right on the 41 bus route (Ottawa at Maple) and just around the corner from the 1 and the 10 (Main at Ottawa) The Gasworks is similarly, less than a 10 minute walk from both the 1, the 2, the 3 and the 10 as well as West Harbour Go Station.

Answer
It's a surprise! We'll be treating our guests to a buffet style meal, drinks and dessert. We'll let you know more about the bar situation soon!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
While we wish that everyone in the entire world could come to our super cool, super fun big gay wedding... that's just not possible with the spaces that we have booked. We are limiting our wedding to only those included in our guest list

Do you have a registry?
Answer
We do! Click on the "Registry" tab on our website to check it out. Please note that Zola does not ship to Canada or accept CAD. Please treat our registry as a loose wishlist! We recommend finding gifts at Canadian retailers. We've put together a list of items that we would love to have in our future home! We of course appreciate any gifts not included on the registry as well as the simple present of your presence at our wedding.
