Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-fancy. Think high tea, not BBQ. Summer dresses and button-ups are the vibe, but if you have a suit and tie or floor-length gown or even a cool jumpsuit you’re wanting to break out, go for it! But don't stress about it either way. The ceremony and reception are outside, so we recommend bringing a jacket or sweater of some kind just in case it gets chilly as the night goes on. Be mindful if you wear heels how high they are as it is a backyard wedding and the grass can be a bit uneven in spots. Also, it would be a good idea to bring an umbrella, cuz you never know in Washington, we could have rain or bright, hot sun!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! But it's going to be tight, so if you can carpool, it would be appreciated. The wedding and reception are at the same location, which is pretty tucked away in Indianola, so we will have a few signs as you get close to let you know you are on the right track. We’ll also have little flags where it is ok to park, so look out for those (:

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to our very tight budget, not everyone we would like there can be there. To find out if you can bring a plus one, head over to the RSVP tab here on our website. Just type in your name and hit continue. You'll be shown your name and if you have a plus one or if you whole family is welcome. If you do not see the names you had in mind, then unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate them :( Please know this is not because they are not wanted, they are. Having everyone there that we want is just not feasible for us, unfortunately, so we had to make some hard decisions and we hope that you respect them and do not add anyone, including kids or babies, that is not on the rsvp list without talking to one of us first. We hope you understand and we love you all.

What about Covid?

Answer

We take Covid very seriously and we hope you all take comfort that the ceremony and reception will be all outdoors in a very spacious area with roughly 50 guests. Almost all of our guests are fully vaccinated. We do ask that if you are not vaccinated you get tested a day or two beforehand and must of course test negative. If you are fully vaccinated, a test is not required but would still be very appreciated. We want this to be a very safe space for everyone, so thank you for taking precautions. Masks will not be required but of course are welcome. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out.
