Amtrak Auto Train

Travelers from the Northeast: Would you prefer a less crowded option to traveling to Tampa? The Amtrak Auto Train offers daily trips from Lorton, Virginia to Sanford Florida. Accommodation options such as Roomettes, Bedrooms, and Suites allow for a private space away from public areas for the 17 hour ride. Boarding occurs at 2:30 PM, and you arrive with your car the next morning just outside Orlando, approximately 2 hour drive from Tampa.

This hotel is on the pricier side, but is wonderfully situated in a beautiful location. The Tampa Riverwalk takes you straight from here to the ceremony in 20 minutes on foot.

This hotel is a more affordable option, and is approximately one mile away from the ceremony. It is located in the more industrial Channel District where there are numerous ports for cruise ships, but it is a safe and convenient location with lots of new condominiums nearby.
