We're getting married!

Our story began at Ball State University back in October 2012. We had mutual friends who consistently made sure we’d end up at the same Halloween parties. Sure enough, it did not take long for us to begin seeing each other pretty regularly. It was about 5 months later, March 19, 2013 when we officially became a couple... in a Dairy Queen over a couple of blizzards. Joel graduated that spring, and we spent the summer enjoying life in Muncie, binge watching TV and eating a lot of egg sandies! Come fall, it was time for us to spend some time apart. One of us adulting in Fort Wayne, the other finishing up at Ball State. After an amazing, yet challenging year together, we realized the long distance was not working out for us. Sadly, we decided to break off our relationship. It didn't take long for us both to realize we wanted to be together, and about a year later, May 2015, Joel made the first move, and sent a message through Facebook asking to meet and catch up! We went to The Deck for a cocktail and the rest is history. We have been together ever since. Last summer, while ATV-ing in the mountains of Colorado, we climbed our way to the top of a beautiful mountain. He got down on one knee and asked the BIG QUESTION. This was truly the best day of both of our lives. We both got exactly what we wanted- each other, forever. Now here we are, so close to our wedding day. We are so excited to have all of our friends and family come together to celebrate our love for one another.
