All questions regarding travel and transportation can be directed to Lizi via email lizi@activatedlife.com. She's available and ready to assist in booking all of your arrangements! Once travel decisions have been made, please email Lizi with the subject line “Holly and Joe’s Wedding”, letting her know of your flight plans. You will receive an email from Lizi with updates on the transportation organization. Shuttle schedule will not be finalized until all guests who want to take a shuttle have sent Lizi their travel information. IMPORTANT: If you are interested in utilizing Tierra Magnifica's shuttle services to and from the airport, when making your travel arrangements, please try to book arriving flights for a mid-day arrival, and departing flights for early afternoon to allow for easy coordination of shuttle arrangements. Liberia Airport (LIR)

This airport is approximately a 2 hour drive from Nosara. Shuttles are available through Tierra Magnifica from the airport. Each shuttle carries 6 people and cost $40 per person each way from (LIR).

San Jose International Airport (SJO)

This airport is approximately a 4.5 hour drive to Nosara, CR. Shuttle are available through Tierra Magnifica from the airport. Each shuttle carries 6 people and cost $65 per person from (SJO). Same day regional flights from (SJO) to Nosara are available if looking to eliminate drive time. The cost is approximately $165 per person each way. PLEASE be sure to book San Jose for Costa Rica, NOT California!

New hostel. Dorms that sleep 6 or 8 people with 1 bathroom, ideal for a group at around $30.00 per person, per night. Private options are also available.

Travel Note

Getting around town

Tierra Magnifica will provide transportation to the planned wedding activities for all guests. For your own personal, local transportation during your free time there are a few options. Many guests rent cars to get around town. There are golf cart and bike rentals too. These services can be found on the main street leading to the beach. The other option is to ask your hotel accommodation for a taxi or a Tuk Tuk ride to your desired destination. (A Tuk Tuk is about half the cost of a taxi).
