"The Circle" is the heart of Indianapolis! Indianapolis is nicknamed "The Circle City" because of Monument Circle. The statue atop is Victory, holding a sword in her right hand and a torch in her left. The Victory statue is a beloved quintessential symbol of Indianapolis.
Vonnegut was an Indianapolis native, and he's also one of Jared's very favorite authors. We even considered having our reception here!
This fantastic museum is on the former campus of the Indiana State Hospital. Much of the rest of the campus is being developed into housing and Holly was working for the City of Indianapolis when those initiatives started gaining more momentum!
A inspiring music and visual art venue with immersive art installations - Holly is so happy that she got to get on this train early! Check their Facebook and Instagram profiles for event information.
This is walking distance from Jared and Holly's place. Holly has done the tour once and loved it!
The largest children's museum in the world! Plenty of fun for the whole family
Not vegan (sorry Holly), but an Indianapolis institution! The glazed yeast donuts rival Krispy Kreme. Like any respectable greasy spoon treasure, Long's is CASH ONLY
Another Indianapolis institution! This upscale restaurant even got the seal of approval from Parks & Rec's Ron Swanson, as it was used on the set-in-Indianapolis episodes.
Although The Idle is not Indy's prettiest park, it might be the quirkiest! NPR made fun of us for having this park, where one can sit and watch interstate traffic. There are also a substantial number of native plants, which is close to Holly's heart.
