We're Getting Married

Our love story began in the kitchen at Tuckaway Tavern, back in 2019. James was a line cook, Holly took a part-time job….well that was her plan at least. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth around the kitchen for weeks. Even after Holly took a full-time position working as a prep chef, which meant they were both very busy, James always found a way to shoot a smile or crack a joke in passing. He finally, and very boldly, asked for Holly’s phone where he popped his number in. A few dates later, James met Scarlett at the Deerfield Fair, that was the day all the pieces fell into place. After discovering a mutual love of nature, food, and adventure the rest is history! 4 years worth of memories later and we’ve raised Scarlett into the beautiful young girl she is, moved into our first apartment, and invited 2 furry kittens to our family, as well as our little hampster. A few months ago Holly popped the question over a candle-lit steak dinner, James was shocked and amazed as he said yes. A few days later James proposed to Scarlett and Holly who of course could not be happier to say yes. We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin and to grow our love and family together!
