Time to Celebrate!

We sincerely thank everyone who made our original wedding date so special - even though we were unable to have everyone with us, it was memorable and wonderful. Thank you! ❤️ We are hopeful that our celebration on Satudray, July 31, 2021 in Albany can move forward. We will be adhereing to state and local health guidelines.

Holly and Jamel met during a leadership training through their jobs on June 13, 2017. They first connected over their shared interest in recreational softball and got to know each other during the course of their leadership program. In September, the two were reconnected serendipitously and became good friends. They started spending time together and, literally before they knew it, they went on their first date on October 1, 2017. Jamel popped the question exactly 2 years after the day they first met. He surprised Holly with a ring at home after she made him go to a financial planning workshop earlier that evening. It was perfect and touching that he remembered the day they met and memorialized it with his proposal. The couple enjoy their life together in upstate New York where they play on 2 softball teams, take on home and yard improvement projects, and go on adventures together - often with family and friends. Since they started dating, they have been to Michigan, Florida, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Montreal, Quebec City, and Punta Cana. They are looking forward to additional adventures - near and far - as husband and wife. The two wed exactly 3 years after the day they first met (June 13, 2020). Due to the COVID19 situation, the ceremony was only attended by parents and the local bridal party.
