Our story began years ago at Red Lobster, where Hiljin was the bartender with the brightest, happiest smile… and Holly was the host who couldn’t help but look over at the bar hoping he’d be working. Everyone loved Jin — kind, uplifting, sweet to everyone — and Holly immediately felt drawn to his energy. His first thought about her? “She’s cute, cool, sweet, and easy to talk to.” Some say it was chemistry… but honestly, there might’ve been something magic in those Cheddar Bay Biscuits. 😌🧈💕 Life carried us in different directions, but nine years later… the universe brought us back together in Las Vegas while celebrating some friends’ birthdays. One weekend was all it took to realize it: this was our person, finally finding their way back. As we built our life together, our favorite memories became the ones spent traveling — even if it meant meeting up for just a day. When Holly was a flight attendant, Hiljin would hop on a plane just to join her on layovers. Our first Christmas together is still one of our sweetest memories… Holly flew from New York to Portland, Jin flew from San Francisco to meet her, and somehow it felt like the whole world paused just for us. The proposal happened in Anaheim, surrounded by our family and friends — exactly how Hiljin planned it. Holly felt pure, overwhelming happiness… a “FINALLY!” moment. Hiljin felt excited, nervous, and full of love. We’re similar and opposite in all the best ways. Jin is calm, cool, collected — but also silly and spontaneous. Holly is outgoing, nurturing, compassionate, playful, and brings the fire. Together, we’re fun, loyal, family-oriented, competitive, adventurous homebodies who love hard and laugh often. Holly loves Hiljin’s patience, kindness, and the way he makes her feel special and loved. He is her home, her safe place, and her protector. Hiljin loves Holly’s spice, her passion, her loyalty, and the way she loves with her whole heart. Our happiest moments are spent with our doggies, Henny and Harlee — spoiling them, cuddling them, or taking them along on adventures. We love trying new restaurants, exploring new cities, curling up in bed with a good show, and of course… Disney date days. We also just picked up golf, which has become our new favorite little competitive hobby together. On our wedding day, we’re most excited to celebrate with all of our loved ones… and to officially become one.
