Want a beautiful view and a great drink? Head straight to the deck (preferably after the sun goes down) grab a drink and an appetizer from the bar menu. The sliders aren’t bad either!

Ewings on the Kern

This is a great place to stop in and destination shop. They carry outdoor gear and clothing, run kayak and rafting trips and can recommend best places to hike!

Sierra South Mountain Sports

Grab an espresso drink and sit with the locals or come later in the day for a cocktail and light meal

Big Blue Bear

Our favorite greasy spoon in Kernville. This is diner food folks. Nothin fancy. Just loads of home cookin.
