Mountain casual, but the wedding will have a flannel theme. The wedding party will be wearing maroon/burgundy colors so we ask that the flannel chosen be other colors :)
Yes, it is! It's a short ride in the snow cat up the mountain.
It's a vehicle that delivers wedding guests to Silcox Hut. It seats 10-12 individuals at a time and takes 20-30 minutes to get to Silcox Hut.
There are 3 small and steep steps with a railing to get into the vehicle.
Yes, you will be required to wear your mask regardless of vaccination status. This is required by the state of Oregon. Everyone will have to wear their mask unless actively eating, drinking, or taking photos. The rules are continuously changing though and will provide updates when needed. If masks are not required by then, then we will not require them for our guests, however, if guests would like to wear their masks then they are welcome too. We do ask if you are unvaccinated to please wear a mask as some of our guests are immunocompromised.
Yes! We are registered through Zola and access to the registry is through our website. Please remember that gifts are not necessary, we are just happy to celebrate with you all!
If you'd like to bring a wedding gift, Timberline is asking all guests to mail their gifts to the couple in either advance or after the wedding. Timberline cannot accommodate any gifts that are brought up to Silcox Hut. Carina and Holly's address is: 7905 20th Ave SE Everett, WA 98203
All of our guests will be taking the snowcat up to Silcox Hut. The first group will be the wedding party and others like the florist and photographer and will be taken up at 2:00pm. Once all of the wedding party has been taken up, guests will be next. Please RSVP soon as we have to give Timberline a list of names of which guests will be traveling up in the 2nd, 3rd, etc trips.
Yes, we will have 3 hours of "premium" craft beers and wines that will be available. We are still up in the air about liquor, but will most likely have a couple hours of premium liquor as well.
We only get so many snowcat rides up and down the mountain. With that being said, we will most likely have 3-4 rides available which means 10-12 guests will need to go down in the 1st trip and this will be repeated until all guests are back to the hotel. Unfortunately, this means not everyone will be able to stay until 11:00pm.
The reception will be set up as a buffet. We will have two options available: Polenta and Beef Tenderloin (these are our choices for now, but in case we have to choose something different, we will update it here). We believe Timberline informed us that there should be enough for everyone to have both entrees as well.
