Galena Cellars Vineyard
One of our favorite spots! The vineyard sits among beautiful rolling hills and usually offers plenty of tastings, light bites, and live music on most summer weekends. There’s also a tasting room downtown on Main Street.
Shopping On Main Street
So many cute shops and boutiques to explore! A few of our favorites include the Galena Canning Company, The Neighborhood Clothing Shop, Galena Apothecary, and Poopsie’s.
Restaurants
Galena is a foodie haven! We’ve tried lots of great spots, but our go-to favorites are The Log Cabin, Fried Green Tomatoes, Vinny Vanucchi’s, Cucina Bella, and Bread & Vine.
Golf Courses
For golf enthusiasts, Galena offers great options: Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa features four scenic championship courses, including The General, while Woodbine Bend Golf Course, a short drive from town, offers a relaxed Scottish links-style 18-hole course.
Drinks & Nightlife
Galena has something for everyone! We recommend catching live music and enjoying cocktails at The Grape Escape, sipping craft beers at Galena Brewing, trying locally distilled vodka drinks at Blaum Bros, or grabbing a drink at The Gold Room.
