Our story technically began in middle school..in social studies of all places. Romantic, right? Nothing says “future soulmates” like worksheets and awkward group projects. At the time, we were just two kids in the same class, completely unaware that we’d one day be planning a wedding together. Fast forward to freshman year of high school..that’s when we became best friends. The kind of best friends who talked all the time, laughed at everything, and probably annoyed everyone around us. We grew up side by side, figuring out life together, and somewhere along the way it became very obvious (to everyone else before us lol) that this was more than just a friendship. At 18, we finally made it official. Turns out, dating your best friend is a really good idea. After graduating college, we decided to take on the real world together and moved to Seattle—because why not start adulthood in a brand new city with your favorite person? Between building our life, making memories, and learning how to be adults, our relationship only grew stronger (and yes, we survived putting furniture together, together). Then came June 7th, 2025, a day we’ll never forget. He planned the sweetest surprise; a ferry boat date to one of the nearby islands. It was already perfect… and then somehow it got even better. As we were getting off the ferry to go home, in front of a crowd of unsuspecting strangers, he got down on one knee and asked the big question. Of course, the answer was an easy "YES" ! From middle school classmates, to best friends, to navigating life in Seattle, to that unforgettable moment on the ferry—our story has always felt a little meant to be and a lot like us. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you ! <3
