One of our favorite places to walk and have dinner is Old Town Alexandria. We love the architecture and the picturesque streets and views of the Potomac. One of our first dates was geocaching in Old Town.

If you happen to be in town for New Year's, head into DC to another one of our date spots and find your state's tree.

National Christmas Tree

Bundle up and head to our favorite spot in DC and the spot we got engaged to watch the planes land at Reagan National Airport.

The Marina

Take the Orange Line Metro to the Smithsonian stop and enjoy any of the museums free of charge. Some of our favorites are the National Air and Space Museum and the American History Museum.

This is one of our favorite spots to grab an Italian sub or some Nino's pizza for carryout.
