Longmont is the 14th most populous city in the state of Colorado and the town where our wedding festivities will take place! The town is named after Longs Peak, which is one of Colorado's 58 tall 14,000 ft peaks. Longmont is the gateway to Rocky Mountain adventures. From town, its a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. The town works hard at keeping their reputation of being the "Biggest Little Beer Town" in Colorado. World-class, award-winning beer is made right here in Longmont. Left Hand Brewery, Oskar Blues, Tasty Weasel, and the Pumphouse are just a few world class breweries that call Longmont home .
It’s hard to imagine a visit to the Boulder area that doesn’t include a stop at the Pearl Street Mall. More than 1,000 businesses fill the red-brick, pedestrian-only thoroughfare, which runs roughly along Pearl Street from 9th Street on the west end to 21st Street on the east end. Most of the things to see and do on Pearl Street are locally owned, bringing with them that special only-in-Boulder character — described as “nestled between the mountains and reality” just a half-hour’s drive from Denver

Chautauqua Park is a portion of an iconic historic landmark dating back to when the City of Boulder began preserving wild lands over 100 years ago. Chautauqua Park provides families with access to Open Space Mountain Park trails, which have a wide range of opportunities for children’s unstructured interaction with nature. In the park itself, children are found playing freely on the open turf and along the park’s edges, with an iconic view of the Flatirons.
Located just west of Denver near the town of Morrison, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre combines awe-inspiring natural scenery with natural acoustic splendor. The 868-acre park stands 6,450 feet above sea level between the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains. The park’s amphitheater opened to the public in June 1941 and has consistently been regarded as one of the best concert venues in the world. The amphitheater has hosted concerts of epic proportions, graduations, festivals, and other events ever since.

One of Stephen's personal favorite places in Denver is the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum; this museum has often been named one of the world's best aviation museums. It was founded in 1994 and is located on the former Lowry Air Force Base, 6 miles east of downtown Denver. Its focuses are on educating, entertaining and inspiring its visitors. Dozens of aircraft are on display here while its flight simulator experiences provide visitors with realistic depictions of what it would feel like to fly planes such as these. Although aviation enthusiasts will get the most out of this place, reveling in all of the history on display, those who are not normally as interested in aviation will likely find themselves entertained as well.
Larimer Square is Denver's historic downtown and is also its urban shopping and dining district. It's Denver’s most historic block and the place where it all began. Lined with stunning Victorian architecture, the block has transformed into a busy neighborhood and one of the top social scenes in Lower Downtown Denver. Before Larimer Square became the charming urban destination that it is today, the street was filled with some of Denver’s first businesses. Having its ups and downs through the years, the square is now an iconic part of Denver. The Victorian style buildings on the block houses specialty boutiques and unique chef-driven restaurants. Shops open: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

Denver Botanic Gardens features North America's largest collection of plants from cold temperate climates around the world, as well as 7 diverse gardens that mostly include plants from Colorado and neighboring states. The Denver Botanic Gardens features 7 diverse gardens including a Japanese garden. The botanic garden also boasts the first conservatory in America made entirely of concrete and Plexiglas panes, each of which were designed to channel condensation to the sides of the walls so it would not drip on visitors. The Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory was awarded landmark status in 1973
A visit to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is another great attraction for those who who want to learn more about the natural history of the Centennial State, the world and the universe. One of the best ways to do the latter is to take a visit to its 125-seat Gates Planetarium. Also in the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is a 440-seat Phipps IMAX Theater. Its exhibits include dinosaur bones dating hundreds of millions of years and Egyptian mummies that are thousands of years old. It also has a wildlife exhibit that provides information on animals that are based throughout the world. Overall, it touches upon anthropology, geology, health sciences, space sciences, paleontology and zoology.
