Our wedding will start at 4pm and go until 10pm. We understand a lot of you will be bringing children along, so feel free to leave early if needed.
As our wedding ceremony will take place in an Orthodox church, we kindly ask guests to dress modestly and respectfully. For Women: Dresses or skirts below the knee Sleeves preferred (short sleeves are fine; please avoid strapless or spaghetti straps) Necklines that are not low-cut Neutral or soft colors are encouraged, but not required For Men: Dress pants or slacks Button-down shirts or dress shirts Jackets and ties are welcome but optional Please avoid shorts, athletic wear, or casual t-shirts We understand questions may come up — if you’re unsure whether an outfit is appropriate, feel free to text me a photo or ask any questions at (254)-281-0663. Reception is immediately to follow the ceremony at the same location, St. Andrews Orthodox Church.
St. Andrews Orthodox Church has adequate parking that is free.
Yes, St. Andrews will have 3 mens and 3 women's stalls available. There is a baby changing table in the women's restroom.
Yes! Beer and wine will be available to those aged 21+. Every adult over 21 will receive 3 drink tickets for 3 beverages of your choice. If you do not drink, you can allot your tickets to someone else (must be over the age of 21). Please keep in mind there will be no smoking indoors (although cigarettes and cigars can be smoked outside) and no drug use on the church property whatsoever.
Our ceremony and the dinner will be held inside, but once the drinks and music come on and party starts up, we will open the doors into a concrete courtyard. If bad weather occurs we simply close the doors to outside, and there will still be plenty of space indoors to party!
