If you know us, you know our story. Yes yes, I (Abby) made the first move. While both living in Statesboro, Georgia, we met at a gym called 180 fitness. I was working there and of course, Carson was coming in daily. I remember looking at him as he walked in one day and thinking, "Yep, if I could put a guy on paper that is my type, it would be him." But of course, neither of us made a move. (I'm slightly convinced he was not interested at the time.) Fast forward to 2021, I noticed we had both moved to Atlanta. Thinking now was my chance, I finally built up the courage to message him. While we had a great convo, he didn't take the bait. But don't worry, it's all about the long game! Fast forward AGAIN a whole year, and I took his birthday as the perfect opportunity. One last shot, I thought. Anyways, I sent him over a Happy Birthday message- something short and sweet and waited for his reply. After a few messages, I left him on read (had to make him work for it now, right?) Sure enough, he took the hint this time! He finally asked me on a date- and the rest is history :) I always was good at getting my own rebound, just had to remember to go back up strong. Can't wait for forever with my best friend!
