FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a formal event. Ladies are invited to wear floor-length evening gowns, while gentlemen can choose between a sophisticated suit and tie or a classic tuxedo.

Question

What is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

Bridesmaids will be wearing green, groomsmen will be in black tuxedos

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive at the Wren Chapel by 4:30pm to be there when doors open. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:45pm. As a historic building, we are constrained to a tight timeline.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at our historic venue is limited, as we're located on William and Mary's charming old campus. We recommend walking from the hotel. Complimentary shuttles will transport guests from the ceremony to the reception, and later in the evening, provide return transportation to the hotel or after-party location.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only evening. The only exception is our ring bearer.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We get wet! Rain or shine, the celebration continues. Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!
