It all started on New Year’s Day 2020, when we met for the first time at a cozy coffee shop for our first date. From the moment we sat down, we hit it off immediately. It was like we’d known each other for years, not just a few hours, and we couldn’t stop laughing as we discovered how much we had in common. New Years Day 2026 marks 6 years since we've met, and will now be our first day spent as husband and wife. Our second date was just as memorable—though a bit more eventful. Despite running late and rushing into the restaurant in heels on a rainy night, I slipped and fell in front of Sean. Not exactly the smoothest moment, but thankfully, it didn’t faze Sean. The night went even better than the first, and as we were wrapping up dinner, we decided to think about something fun to do afterwards. I turned to Sean and said, “You know what movie I’ve been wanting to see?” I was thinking of Cats--I love watching bad/dumb movies--and without missing a beat, he replied, “Cats?”. That’s when we both knew there was something here - who else would want to waste a Saturday night watching that critically acclaimed disaster of a film?
