Hollie’s Person of Honor

she/her Lacee is Hollie’s youngest sister. Hollie’s favorite memory of Lacee is when they would sing Tegan and Sara. They would hang out and sing in one of the only places to go our home town, the closed down car wash. The acoustics were amazing.

she/they One time, during a surprise snow/ice storm in 2021, Hollie’s power went out and she had homework due and paper to write. Nikki saved the day by coming to get Hollie in her Jeep. Hollie spent three days at Nikki’s, writing her paper and getting her homework done. Nikki has been very supportive of Hollie’s academic journey and has been a wonderful friend since that snow storm.

they/she/he Tree and Hollie know each other through the Portland Pigs Rugby Club where they were President and Vice President respectively of the women’s team. Tree has been a great friend to Hollie, who will miss them dearly when they move to Philadelphia in September.

she/her Brandi is Hollie’s cousin from her dad’s side. Their families all lived on the same 10 acres as their grandparents. So while Brandi and Hollie are cousins, they are more like sisters.

she/her Abi is also Hollie’s cousin and close like sisters. Abi spends much of her time chasing her two kids and taking care of their chickens.

she/her Michelle is Hollie’s aunt and has been a pivotal influence in Hollie’s life. She is one of the women who raised Hollie to be the person she is today. Michelle honors us by standing as the representative of Hollie’s family.
