Knockrobin Glamping

Knockrobin Glamping is a beautiful and convenient glamping option on the grounds of Tinakilly estate (less than five minutes walking from the wedding site). The ten two-people tents offer a magnificent seaside view and are fully equipped with electrical power, a private bathroom, heaters, electric blankets as well as on-site parking and included breakfast. Rates are 120€ a night. Make sure to book quickly due to limited availability!

Travel Note

Bus Éireann 133

Bus Éireann 133 directly connects Dublin airport with Tinakilly Country House. Between 6:40 and 22:40 it runs once an hour and the journey takes approx. 1h 40mins. Make sure to get off at "Rathnew" if you are staying at Tinakilly or at the next stop if you are staying in Wicklow town.

Travel Note

Bus from Dublin Airport

If you are spending some time in Dublin before the wedding then we recommend taking the Aircoach from Dublin Airport into the city and surrounding suburban areas. This bus can be taken from the corresponding bus stops at both airport terminals (follow signs for Bus Terminal / Aircoach). If you are staying in the Ballsbridge area then the 702 Aircoach (direction Bray/Greystones) will take you there. If you are staying in Booterstown, Blackrock, Monkstown or Dun Laoghaire then please take the 703 Aircoach (direction Killiney/Dalkey). Tickets can be bought online or directly at the driver.

DART

The DART train is a convenient way to get from Dublin city center to the suburban areas in the south. The two closest stops to Tinakilly are Bray and Greystones which are a 20-30min taxi ride away.

Rental Car

Taxi Services

If you prefer to take a taxi directly to your accommodation, please reach out to us and we can arrange for a trusted taxi driver to pick you up from the airport and meet you at the arrivals. If you are staying in Dublin City Centre or in South County Dublin, then the journey would take about 25-30 minutes and cost around €30-€45. Alternatively, a taxi service can also take you to your accomodation in Rathnew, Wicklow or Greystones. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions and we can give a more accurate idea of journey time and cost.

The Leap Visitor Card is a convenient public transport card available for visitors to Dublin. With this card you can get unlimited travel over your selected time period on airport shuttle (Airlink), Dublin Bus, Luas (tram) and DART (rail). It can be bought at various stores and outlets in and around Dublin as well as at selected DART train stations.

Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire

If you wish to stay in Dublin for the nights before or after the wedding then we recommend the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire. It is a beautiful grand hotel with stunning views over the sea and Dun Laoghaire harbour. Also, room rates are relatively inexpensive.
