We're getting married!

We first met online on Bumble and immediately hit it off! We planned to meet in person after a few FaceTime calls and days of texting. We met on the Waterway and had an amazing first date. After our first date, we kept going on dates and never stopped. After a month of dating Austin officially asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes, of course.

We spent almost every weekend together and some weekdays too. In August of 2022, we decided to move in together and found the perfect apartment for us. It was a rough moving in the middle of the day in August, but we survived. Unbeknownst to me, 6 months later Austin purchased an engagement ring and hid it in our guestroom closet.

Our anniversary was coming up and Austin had planned to propose to me on our anniversary weekend in June of 2023. On the day of, we planned on going to Top Golf and then dinner at a new Italian restaurant. Austin originally planned to propose on the waterway after dinner, where we had our first date. He later told me that he was both nervous and excited the morning of that he decided to propose early that morning so that we could have as much time as possible to celebrate our engagement that weekend. I had no idea of any of these plans, obviously. I was completely surprised when the morning of June 17th 2023, Austin got down on one knee in the middle of our kitchen and asked me to marry him. I immediately started crying and said yes, of course.

After our engagement, we decided to save up to buy our first house. After two weekends of house shopping, we found our perfect first house. We moved in the first week of November of 2023 and had our first Thanksgiving and Christmas in our new house and we’re so happy.

Austin and I are so excited to start this next chapter in our lives and can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day with all of our close family and friends. We can’t wait to see you there!
