God blessed our paths to cross at the Bergen Fire Department in November of 2023. For a while both of us actually avoided the other as we kind of liked each other but didn't want to get close for personal reasons. However as the days went on and trainings continued we started to interact more and more and became very fast friends. There were many late nights at the fire department after training, workout sessions at the gym, some motorcycles rides, and a lot of bowling in a league. After some time, God opened the door for us to become more after a motorcycle ride out to Letchworth on October 22nd of 2024 where we got to see the autumn leaves on a beautiful ride and went from friends that night to more.

Both of us didn't really grow up in Christian households but events in our lives brought us both down to our lows in life that only God could pick us up from. Not only did He rescue us, He redeemed us, and has blessed us on so many different occasions. He has blessed us with an amazing relationship with Him, amazing friends and family, blessed good times, and help and perseverance in the bad times, and now He has blessed us with each other. Neither of us ever really asked for proof of God's existence nevertheless, His goodness, grace, love, forgiveness, and mercy, but if we ever questioned it all we would have to do is look in front of us. He has been good to us and beyond all that He died a death He didn't deserve for us so that we may live a life we don't deserve. We are holding our wedding not to glorify ourselves or anything that we do, but to Glorify God and all He has done. God is the one who created the covenant and blessing of marriage, so we are not only taking a vow to love and hold each other for the rest of our lives, but to do our best to reflect God in all that we do as one in a covenant with Him.
