Chris and Lauren met while living in East Texas. Their first date was in May of 2017, and they never looked back. Although Chris moved to Bacliff, Texas a few months later, Lauren and Chris made the long-distance work for them until Lauren graduated from UT Tyler in 2018. They quickly reunited after Lauren moved back to the Houston area. Chris proposed to Lauren at the NASA Space Center on December 7th, 2020 with the help of their friends, Christian and Destiny Petter.
