We're Getting Married!

Jalen and Sade met in high school through mutual friends. The two quickly became best friends and remained close as both went on their separate paths to college. While Jalen was in New York and Sade remained in Texas, they still managed to keep their close friendship intact. After years of friendship, Jalen and Sade finally realized what God had blessed them with, an undeniable love for one another. While their relationship was tested by distance, their love still continued to blossom. After nearly two years, Jalen and Sade were no longer separated by distance and continued their journey together in San Antonio, TX. Little did Sade know, Jalen had started to orchestrate the perfect engagement surprise with the help of family, close friends, and their new puppy named Bruce. On April 7th, 2018, Jalen took Sade to Mount Bonnell in Austin, which is where he bent down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. With much emotion, Sade quickly said, “YES!” Who would have known that these two best friends from the same hometown high school would begin to plan the rest of their lives together. It was a dream come true.
