We met all the way back in sixth grade at St.Christopher's School. At the time, we had not spoken much. We would always exchange glances, but it wouldn't be until twelfth grade that I finally got the courage to ask Emily out. She was in the middle of talking about Lord of the Rings, and I clumsily blurted out "I like you, do you want to date?" She said yes, despite her bewilderment at how sudden it all was. But despite that our love has persisted through high school, college, and early adulthood. We even outlasted St.Chris, which has since closed. In our time together we have seen each other laugh, cry, and grow. It has been an amazing and beautiful time that we will get to share with all of you on our special day, August 9th, 2025.
