Josh has been Greg’s best friend since they were 3 years old. They have traveled much of the word, survived apartment move ins and outs in Memphis and Seattle, braved cross country road trips, and laughed the entire way. Greg may be an only child by blood, but he will always have a brother in Josh.

Elliott is the middle child in the Holdosh family. He and Anna grew up side by side and have been close friends again once their teenage angst wore off. His unwavering support and sage advice are a gift to those who call Elliott their friend and brother.

Sasha is a soon-to-be sister in law in the Holdosh Family, her marriage to Elliott is later in Fall 2024. She is an incredibly supportive friend and an absolute kick-butt chef!

Not many know this, but Gabe and Greg actually met playing a golf tournament in Oregon in high school. Little did they know they’d be future college team mates, let alone one of each others best friends. Whether it’s a day on the links or a night at a concert, when they are together it’s always a good time.

Abby is Anna’s first friend at Syracuse. They met the first week of Environmental Engineering classes and have been inseparable ever since. They’ve done a lot from jet setting around Europe (often getting asked if they were twins) to filling adult long weekend trips to see each other.

When Nate arrived at Seattle U, there were no doubts about his ability as a golfer, but it pales in comparison to what he is as a friend. Some of the most fun Greg has ever had and the hardest he has ever laughed have been on the course or traveling from city to city with Nate.

Veronica, or V as her friends affectionally call her, is a strong confidante and adamant supporter of her friends. Their friendship took off on the golf team in High School, taking the “mom van” to practice every day and road trips (with taquitos stops) to tournaments.

Another life timer on this list, Ward and Greg have been friends since kindergarten. For whatever reason they’ve stuck together, and Greg is sure lucky they have. They have been telling the same inside jokes for 20 years, and will get old before the jokes do.

Angelica was the friend that Anna was looking for in her adult life! Moving to Memphis without knowing anyone, Anna spent most of her time at the dog park. When their two pups met, they knew that they were bound to be fast friends as well. Angelica is also the first of friends and family to meet Greg, granting him the stamp of approval!

Greg and Davis have known each other since Windyke Junior Golf Clinics during elementary school summers. Through their shared bond over controversial “hot” Premier League takes, they have become really close. While his choices in soccer clubs and sneakers are suspect, there is no doubting Davis’s quality as a friend.

Adina is a steadfast friend from high school. Adina and Anna spent many afternoons in cast commons laughing together. Through many moves and zip code changes they have stayed close. Adina is a true shoulder to lean on and always has the best advice.

Peyton has always been like a big brother to Greg. He has been a confidant and a source of constructive advice for years. Greg is still thankful for all of Peyton’s feedback, whether it was a good idea to take a chance on Seattle U or his vote of confidence for some girl from St. Louis Greg had met! He is very particular about the company he keeps, but those he has chosen are lucky to have a friend who is as loyal and supportive as Peyton.

Natalie is the definition of a cheerleader! Always supporting and uplifting her friends, her zeal for quality time together is unparalleled. She and Anna spent many nights at Al’s just chatting away and dreaming of the places they are in life now!

Everyone has those friends where you could be apart for long periods of time, but every time you’re together it’s right where you left off. Carson has been that to Greg. Whether it’s bonding over rounds of golf or the annual Christmas Bags for the Union Mission, time spent together has always been a source of laughter and fun.
