Their story started at a wonderful place called the "the Lakeside Church". Sara was a sophomore in high school and Carlon was a junior and both of them started attending youth group at Lakeside. One Wednesday night Sara was asked to share a little message to the students about trusting the future and Gods plan, and as Sara was speaking she stated "Some one in this room could be a doctor, lawyer, or even NBA player". As she said NBA player she pointed at Carlon. Sara knew that Carlon played basketball because she recognized his face but never formally met him, so after getting that kind shout out Carlon felt flattered. He told his friends that night I think I am going to try and direct message her on twitter. That night Sara received a message that said "Great message tonight" from Carlon. They began to talk often and had an amazing connection. After a few months of Carlon and Sara talking daily and establishing a close friendship they both felt it was right to start dating. A few months into dating, Sara invited Carlon to come with her family to a family reunion in North Carolina and then New York. While in North Carolina Sara's big family went bowling to one of the local bowling alleys around there. While Sara was bowling, her sister-in-law noticed Carlon staring at Sara lovingly. Brooke looked at Carlon and whispered to him "You are in love with her". Carlon just laughed and nodded his head in agreement with her. About a week later it was July 4th, 2016 and both Sara and Carlon made it back to Clermont after 20 hours in a van ride with the whole family from New York. Sara remembers realizing after that trip that she didn't get annoyed of Carlon that whole time and was happy every second spent together... thats when it hit her that she was also in love with this special man. That day Carlon and Sara said "I love you" to each other for the first time and it was the start of a great love story. "Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite."
