Why did you elope?

Answer

We knew we wanted to be married and have been ready to do so for a while. Big formal weddings can be expensive and take a lot of time to plan and we didn't want to wait forever. It didn't feel right to keep waiting on money and "the right time" when we ourselves have felt ready, so we said why wait? Let's do the darn thing! We sought wise counsel who advised us well and our families and friends were supportive.

Why did you do it so quickly?

Chloe’s parents were already coming to town so we decided to do it then. Even thought it was only two weeks notice! Lots of other details fell into place perfectly for that weekend as well.

Why didn’t you announce it before?

The surprise is half the fun of eloping!

Will you do another big “wedding”?

Answer

Yes! We want to have a big party/celebration with everyone. We are still planning details and will use this site, as well as many other forms of communication, to get that information out to our people at the appropriate time.
