Question
Where is all of this taking place? And when should I be there?
Answer
Probably the most important question of all! Everything is happening at: Ardenwood Historic Farm Park 34600 Ardenwood Blvd. Fremont, Ca 94555 The ceremony starts at 5pm, but please arrive around 4:30pm to find your seat! All the normal wedding stuff to follow.
Question
Will there be parking? And how do I get to where I need to be?
Answer
Of course! The address provided above will take you to the entrance of the park, just follow the tree-lined road through the field, and *poof*, you're in the parking lot. Go through the main gate, and follow the helpful signs to figure out where to go. It can be a bit of a walk, but we will have a golf cart shuttle running if you need it!

Are there any special attire notes?
Answer
We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite dressy-casual attire! Keep in mind that you'll be walking around on a lot of grass, so you may want to leave the stilettos at home. Temperatures tend to dip a bit at night, and since everything will be outside, you might want to bring a jacket or wrap. However, there will also be heaters to help keep guests warm.

How do I RSVP and when is the deadline?

We're going digital! Please click the "RSVP" button in the menu section of our website and follow the prompts. If you run into any issues, contact us. We ask you to please RSVP by September 1st, 2022. To anyone who misses this deadline, bring a chair and a sandwich.

Will there be food and drinks?
Answer
Oh yes there will! Cocktail hour will consist of passed appetizers as well as a cheese and fruit table, moving along to an enormous buffet for dinner, followed by wedding cake and an entire dessert cart! You'll also have full access to beer, wine, and champagne throughout the night. Our main mission is to make you stuffed!

Will there be dancing or entertainment?
Answer
Um, is there a sun and moon? Of course we will have dancing and entertainment. You'll be able to make plenty of memories at the photo booth, and we have arranged for an awesome 3-piece band to get things started and will finish off the night with a DJ that will help you dance your tush off. This ain’t no Footloose.

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?
Answer
During the ceremony? Ideally not. We are paying for a professional photographer, and we want everyone to be fully in the moment with us. Cuz we love you. And anyone caught will be publicly shamed and sent a bill. During the reception? Of course! Do it to your hearts content. Please use the hashtag #holdenhandsforever so we can see the lovely snaps ourselves!

Can I bring a date?

Ooh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to email us with any questions!
