Denisse and Andrew met in 2009 through friends but it wasn’t until 2012 that they crossed paths while on a fun four wheeling desert trip. She was in town visiting for a month before she had to go back to Colorado to pick up her horse, Rocky and move to Kentucky for an internship. Meanwhile, Andrew was getting ready to go to Army basic training. After their encounter, they continued to talk and quickly realized they were everything they had ever wanted. Their vacation ended quickly and had to say goodbye- they both went on with their plans and soon were thousands of miles apart.. but wrote each other letters every day. Their relationship and feelings grew stronger. In the span of 5 months they only had the chance to see each other for 36hours until it was finally graduation time. Denisse drove through the night to Georgia and spent the weekend with his family. After the graduation, Andrew had a couple of free days and was able to drive back to Kentucky with her and celebrate her 21st birthday together. It was on a barn, overlooking the beautiful Kentucky fields that they finally became “official”. Andrew was stationed in El Paso, Texas and they continued their long distance relationship. In July, they moved Denisse’s entire life back to Arizona so she could proceed with her schooling. They would ride the night bus or drive to see each other for the weekend; until Andrew was finally out of the Army. In 2015 they moved to a cute little house on an acre, where the real story began. Over the years, they have worked hard to build their dreams into reality. With their 3 horses, 2 dogs, 2 goats, 2 cats, and too many chickens.. Denisse is not only happy she found someone who supports her passion for animals, but also the man of her dreams. Andrew is thankful that he gets to spend the rest of his life with his best friend! The property that was once a desert, is now their wedding location to share the best moment in their lives yet with their loved ones.
Hello everyone! On the top right there is a menu to help you navigate the website. Under “Registry” please click “other registries” to see other registries like Walmart, Target and Amazon, which actually have items wanted or feel free to do gift cards. There are some places that don't do registries but we shop at. Gift cards from there would be appreciated: Home Depot, Tractor Supply, Shoppers and Boot Barn. I know the items are unusual but we are very fortunate to already have many of the typical wedding gifts. The “honeymoon” fund is for cash if you would rather do that than a gift card or item. Thank you so much!
