Are kids welcome?

Answer

We will be hosting an adults only wedding, but we would be happy to see you and your kids at the Welcome Event at The Independent the day before the wedding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a LAZ parking lot next to the venue. The website currently lists weekend parking at $15. The address is 109 Arlington St, Boston, MA 02116 If you're staying with us at the Fairmont Copley Hotel, where we have the wedding block, the hotel has valet parking for guests and is only an 8 min walk to the venue.

Will there be food at the Welcome Event?

Answer

You bet! There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

FOR THE WEDDING: Yes! It would be great to let us know ahead of time, but the staff will confirm allergies/no allergies at the event as well. FOR THE WELCOME EVENT: We will be sure to have multiple food options available at the buffet.
