We met in high school and quickly became inseparable. What started as a simple friendship grew into something much deeper, and on September 12th, 2017, we officially began dating. Nine years later, on the very same date, we’ll be saying “I do.” Many of our early memories were built through 4-H and FFA, where we raised steers, sheep, and pigs together and spent long days at shows working side by side. Those years taught us teamwork, patience, and partnership, and laid the foundation for the life we would eventually build together. Since then, we’ve traveled to 27 states and created countless adventures. One of the most meaningful moments happened on March 23rd, 2025, at Waiʻānapanapa State Park on the road to Hana, Maui, where Matthew proposed. Truly an unforgettable moment surrounded by family, the sound of the waves, and the beauty of Hawaii. We chose our venue because of our shared love for Gardnerville, a place where we’ve made some of our favorite memories together and a town that has always felt like home to both of us. At home, we share our cat, Teddy, and our German Shorthaired Pointer, Reba, who keep us entertained and complete our little family. From high-school sweethearts to soon-to-be husband and wife, our story has been filled with growth, joy, and a love that keeps getting stronger. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with you.
