We're getting married!

Once upon a time, Sarah (22) was back home visiting friends and family in Southern California over Memorial Day weekend. Bryn (21) was busy finishing up college at Chapman University before moving back home to the Bay Area. Alison, a mutual friend, introduced the two of them at a nightclub in Santa Ana on Sarah's last night in town. The chemistry was instant and Sarah ended up missing her flight home to San Francisco the next morning...whoops. From there the two bounced in and out of each other's lives, without ever officially dating, but both knowing there was something there...

Fast-forward 7 years and Bryn and Sarah "found love in a hopeless place" aka the internet. Yes, Bumble brought them back together. After some quick-witted texting, they arranged for their last first date. Bryn was worried she'd have a nervous vomit, but luckily for Sarah she held it together. They met at a sushi spot in SF and ordered the "Surprise Ending" roll, where 1 out of 6 pieces is SURPRISE! - spicy af. Sarah was the lucky winner (on her very first roll) and so the date was filled with laughter, tears, and no vomit.

2020 was quite the year (COVID amirite?). Bryn and Sarah had moved in together right before the shut down ordinances, and at that point had spent more of their relationship quarantined than not. As Summer 2021 approached, things were beginning to look up. Sarah suggested throwing a small party for their close friends to celebrate. Bryn agreed, and Sarah's plan was set in motion. They invited 40 close friends to a private rooftop in SF to eat, drink, and catch up. Sarah thanked everyone for being there, and then turned to her partner Bryn and asked her to never live this life without her. Bryn said {dramatic pause} yes! and just like that their 9 years-in-the-making love story got its happily ever after.
