We eloped!

We met a few years back while we were working together and we were simply just friends until one day we went to the movies together. I knew he was leaving for the Navy, but I kind of pushed that out of my mind. I had never enjoyed one person’s company more than I enjoyed his. Everything felt easy and from that point forward I knew I wanted to be with him no matter how hard it would get. Fast forward some months and he was leaving for bootcamp. 8 weeks, 60+ letters and 4 short phone calls later, we were finally reuinted. I travel every couple of months to visit, but we keep our love alive with constant communication and countdowns to the next day we can finally see each other again. It isnt always easy but we both agree that it is so worth it.

On March 7th of 2020 we took our love to the city of Chicago and privately got married on a balcony with views of the city skyline. Although we decided to celebrate our love only with the company of each other, please know that we kept everyone in out hearts and thoughts. We thank you for your love and support and we can not wait to celebrate in September!
