Flight
In regards to flight arrivals/departures, the Missoula International Airport is the closest option, however it's not a bad idea to shop around at surrounding airports, especially if you wanted to tackle some tourism while out in Big Sky Country. Kalispell Airport Just about 3 hours North of Missoula close to Flathead Lake and right at the entry to Glacier National Park. Bozeman Airport Right around 3 hours East of Missoula, but is very close to Yellowstone National Park. A worthy pit-stop between Missoula and Bozeman, would be Butte, a city full of history. Spokane Airport Spokane is 3 hours West of Missoula. It provides a very scenic drive en route to Missoula where you will travel through the Idaho panhandle passing Cour de Alene, ID and a few mountain passes.
