Our first bonding experience was over losing at Settlers of Catan to our friends Tim and Shirley. We soon realized that we also both had a love of space. After a few game nights, Nick and Laura went out for coffee at The Sun Shoppe Cafe and talked for several hours. Shortly after their first date, Laura put Nick through the ringer by introducing him to her parents. That didn't scare him off, and he secured a second date out to dinner at BJs Brewhouse.

Laura was dog sitting for her friend Bill. After feeding Yoshi her dinner, Nick and Laura sat by the pool enjoying the evening. But Nick had a big surprise for Laura. Nick slipped the ring on Laura's finger and asked her to marry him. After tears of joy, she of course said "YES"! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Merritt Island, Florida!
