Mel and I first became best friends in the 4th grade when our teacher sat us at the same table group. Her being a lil trouble-maker and me being a goody-two-shoes, we surely did not get along at first! ;) However, our moms seemed to know something we didn't and scheduled us playdates that has since resulted in 16 years of meaningful friendship & sisterhood. Mel has seen me grow through every stage in my life and has loved & supported me no different than the last. She has the most loyal heart and a quick wit that makes me laugh the hardest. She is unapologetically herself and stays true to that, but is never afraid of growth; both of which I immensely look up to. From playdates at our local pool to standing beside me on my wedding day, I am blessed to have this gal by my side.

George

Best Man

George and I met freshman year of highschool, and we’ve been on the greatest adventures during each season of life ever since. Highschool we were drifting in snowy parking lots and “fake puking” outside of nice restaurants. During college we surfed, went to crossfit, and cooked steak. And some activities have always stayed consistent– like God conversations and drinking good coffee. George has the brains, brawns, and faith. Just being around him improved these same aspects of my life; he pushes me to be the best version of myself. For example, George got me into my work out grind. Also, he has his way of getting into my family vacation trips. However, please don’t let him talk about the carnivore diet.

Megan

Bridesmaid

Megs was the very first person I met in college when we both moved into our dorm at the same time. Megan introduced herself by blurting to me at 7 in the morning "you like succuclents plants, TOO?!" From there, we quickly bonded over those succulent plants, surfing posters, and coffee. I am thankful for ALL of our times together including the study sessions at our kitchen table, walks along Madonna Road, and line dancing (against my will). Megan is my dear friend & sister. I have always looked up to her in how determined yet poised she is. I also love her kind heart and if you're special.. she will show off her spunky/spicy side that makes everyone in the room belly laugh. She is the best person to go to for advice and a lovingly honest opinion.

Peter

Groomsman

Peter and I lived together for 4 years in the same room... we even shared a bunk bed! We have hollered at the top of our lungs over ping pong, video games, skate boarding, and guitar jam sessions… sorry, neighbors! Peter is someone you can talk to about anything and he has great wisdom to share. We have discussed some of the deepest questions I’ve had in that 150 square foot college room. Peter and I have also created a lot of meaningful things together including Bible studies, YouTube channels, and optimized longboarding routes.

Shelby

My twin flame, Shelby and I were truly two peas in a pod in high school. There was not an activity or extracurricular I did that Shelby was not also a part of (soccer, volleyball, leadership, Best Buddies, Blue Crew.. you name it!). I am thankful that into adulthood, she has remained one of my best friends whom I still enjoy so many hobbies with such as coffee shop chats, kayaking, and skiing/snowboarding. Shelbs is the best friend a gal could ask for as she is dependable, loyal, and a joy to be around. She goes the extra mile in how she loves her friends and family and it surely does not go unnoticed. Shelby is also extremely talented in her many crafting and outdoor activity abilities!

Jacob

Jacob is absolutely hilarious. We met in the 3rd grade where we quickly became great friends at recess– something about our humor just clicked from the very start. We also absolutely dominated the wall ball courts. In high school, Jacob became a fashion icon and he and my sister were basically the only reason I had anything nice in my wardrobe. Jacob brings life and excitement into every situation. He is always down for both big adventures or a chill coffee run– either way we’re going to be having a blast.

Sara

Ben's sister and Lo's future sis-in-law, Sara is truly one of a kind. It feels like a two-for-one deal that I am gifted the absolute coolest sister ever when I marry her big bro <3 I am consistently in awe of Sara's intelligence not only in the book-sense but also in how uniquely she loves others. She is one of my favorite people to talk to and confide in as she offers a lense on life that radiates grace, joy, and God's will. She also is such a goofball and cracks me up every time I talk to her. Sara has so warmly welcomed me into the family since the very start and I look forward to making fun of Ben with her, forever !!!

Derek

Derek will be the best brother-in-law. He’s got rad taste in everything and is absolutely fearless on the snowboarding slopes, too. Don’t let his chill vibes dismiss his hardworking attitude and how much he cares for his family and friends. It was clear to me from the get-go that he wants to make a positive impact in the world while also having an awesome time doing it. I am stoked to be family and thankfully for me, he is great at picking on Lo.

Nicky

From cooking in our small kitchen to Wednesday Bachelor nights, I am thankful to have had Nicky living right across the hall from me for so many years. Nicky is a true friend you can rely on and she has a sixth sense for when to check in on you. She has the best recommendations and life hacks for ALL things (restaurant orders, dogs, Excel Spreadsheet) and she's also a beast at board games (someone challenge this girl to Yahtzee). I have always looked up to Nicky's calmness even during life's toughest times. Nicky is the cutiest dog mom & best line dancer teacher ever (obviously tied with Cait and Megs).

Riley

Riley is a #1 gentleman. You will not find a man with better manners, joy, and dedication. I don’t think there is anything this guy can’t do well. The majority of my favorite childhood memories are with Riley such as building dirt bike tracks with excavators, golf tournaments, and flying RC planes. Riley is a guy you look up to even when you are the same age. He has your back on all occasions and is stoked to see his friends and family succeed.

Caitlin

My college roomie & fellow agriculture major, Cait is such a joy to be around. Her bubbly & goofy personality brightens every room and she is the first person anyone invites if they want to have a fun time! She also is one of the most comforting people you will ever meet & gives the best hugs. Cait has very creative ideas, jobs, and hobbies such as her mobile drink bar, The Happy Drinker. I am thankful for all our adventures as roomies such as getting cheap cocktails at Olive Garden and re-decorating our backyard on a budget, and I cannot wait for all the adventures our adulthood shall bring! P.S. Thank you for always letting me borrow all your going-out shirts ;)

Lane

Lane is the man; he is friendly, fun, and someone you can talk to about anything and come away feeling happy. Lane and I met on the first day of college; he was looking for some Christian friends and I was, too. We quickly bonded over Jon Bellion's music and mochas from Starbucks. During college, everyone in our friend group always hoped that Lane would be planning a Woodstock's pizza hangout or a movie night; he is good at bringing people together. He is an industrial engineer but doesn’t miss when it comes to stock picks.

Helina

The most genuine and kind-hearted person you will ever meet, Helina is such a special friend to have in this life! Helina and I first met when we were training to become college orientation leaders and not only did we survive leading orientation week together (fancy In-n-Out anyone?), but she also became one of my best friends. She is sunshine wrapped into one person! Helina is the kind of person who you can talk to about life's difficulties, recent successes, future aspirations, fun facts, etc. all in one coffee shop visit! She is truly wise beyond her years & I look up to her so much in how she enjoys life to the fullest.

Jack

Jack is my younger cousin who is way cooler than me now. He has awesome hobbies that we have enjoyed doing together, and some even cooler ones I’ve gotten to hear about. Jack is a fast learner. I remember showing him how to run my RC car and before I knew it he was already helping me fix up mine. Jack has a thoughtful perspective on life that I admire. Just talking to him will have you smiling in no time. Jack is not only my cousin, but also a good friend and I am thankful to have him standing up with me as my groomsman!

Tatum

My younger cousin and mini-me, Tatum has always felt more like a little sister to me. From family holidays to picking her up from school, it has been such a joy to watch her grow up into the stellar young lady she is today. Tatum has the best sense of humor and always makes our family laugh! She also has elite recommendations for movies, music, TV shows... you name it! I am thankful to have Tatum not only as my bridesmaid but also my flower girl, as I was the flower girl in her parents' wedding, too <3
