Andrew and Abby "knew" of each other back in the their college days! Andrew attended SCSU and Abby frequently visited the campus as she knew some girlfriends that went there. One random night when she was out with her friends, she got introduced to Andrew (she was not impressed with his long blonde hair - funny how things change) they exchanged a few words, and that was that. 7 years later ... They both were on this dating app called "Tinder" - yes, very classy, they know. As everyone knows the story, when two people swipe right, they 'match' and that's what they both did. Being the persistent person that Abby is (after she remembered who he was and realized they had about 50 mutual friends), she reached out to Andrew first and they immediately exchanged numbers. Andrew did make the first move of asking Abby to hangout, and a week later on January 6th, 2017 is when they had their first official date, which was held at Abby's studio apartment in Uptown. They shared stories and a bottle of wine and ended up spending the whole weekend together. Time went by, they met each others families and friends, and their love grew stronger and stronger! Andrew proposed on December 22nd, 2019 in front of Abby's family in the home she grew up in. 🖤
