We didn't.
Due to the intensity of the day, we wanted to keep our guest list small. We would have loved for you to have been there, but decided to keep it super intimate with only fourteen guests in attendance.
After years of working in the wedding industry and months of talking about how we wanted to spend our day together we both decided that despite loving what we do for work we wanted to do something a little different. A intimate and adventurous outing was more our style.
It was an easy decision to have our ceremony at the top of Bonticou Craig in New Paltz. It was one of the first hikes we ever went on together and quickly became a favorite picnic spot. Being able to share not only the exciting hike up, but the amazing views with a small sliver of our closest family and friends made the day even more special.
It was his mom, Sara's. (She died when she was seven) We're honored to be able to carry a little bit of her with us through this new portion of our lives together. (Thank you Ed for all of the cars you detailed to afford this ring)
Good news! We're buying a house! (Closing Mid April) We'll have House Warming/Wedding Party in the Late Spring/Early Summer, but if you can't make it to that, we love entertaining! Find a time to celebrate and we will make it happen!
