John and Abby connected on Hinge, but their first date was so memorable they often forget they really met online. Between down pouring rain and talking about their past, things could have easily turned into a disaster. But there isn’t anything more romantic than being alone in a park looking out into the rain under a canopy of trees, talking to someone who just understands you. Looking back, they know the rain was Abby’s grandfather giving them his blessing. Over the last 3 years, John and Abby have faced challenges, but together they have turned most of them into successes! Through the happy and sad tears, and even shock (#proposal), they are always there for each other. We are so excited to celebrate with all of you the special feeling we both felt that first day!
