Yes! We made the decision to have our wedding ceremony with immediate family in Kennebunkport, Maine on October 23, 2021. You could say we couldn't wait to get married but in reality, we wanted to make sure our closest friends and family stayed safe during the pandemic. We are looking forward to being able to dance the night away and properly celebrate with all our loved ones in June.
Guests will arrive directly into what feels like a cocktail hour at a traditional wedding. There will be plenty of drinks, cocktails and appetizers to enjoy. Caitlin Schmidt, Taylor's sister, and Stephen Janco, Kyle's brother, will gather everyone for a few words as they co-officiated the actual wedding ceremony. Taylor and Kyle will also have their first official dance. We will provide a buffet dinner full of classics like delicious burgers and chicken sandwiches and of course, a classic Maine lobster roll. We will continue celebrations by dancing the night away with our live band. Make sure to wear your comfy shoes!
While we absolutely love all the growing families around us, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children at our venue due to limited numbers. We hope you are still able to come enjoy yourself and celebrate with us!
Who doesn't love Portland!? We have spent so much of our relationship coming up to Portland, whether for a few nights to get away, to celebrate birthdays or anniversaries, attend a concert, or a even do a quick beer pick up at Bissell Brothers. We are so excited to be able to celebrate this chapter in a place that means so much to us with the people that mean the most.
