Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies can wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, even long dresses if they'd like. Gentlemen can wear suit and tie, sport coat and tie, or even a tux if they are looking to show it off!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Whitby Castle. Address: 330 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Pending nice weather, the ceremony will be held outdoors. Following, the cocktail hour will be held half indoors and half outdoors, and reception will be indoors. If poor weather, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle leaving from the Stamford Marriott (243 Tresser Blvd) at 6pm sharp. You are also more than welcome to drive directly to Whitby Castle where parking is available. Address: 330 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY 10580 There will also be shuttles back from Whitby to the Stamford Marriott every 45 minutes from 10:30pm until 1am.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure we can start the festivities on time. Ceremony will start promptly at 7pm. There will be a shuttle leaving the Stamford Marriott at 6pm sharp.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVPs may be done either online or by mail.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
