Things To Do

We love Cincinnati, and we are so excited to share our recommendations with you! Need more food & drink recs? Just ask! Please take into account there will be thousands of extra people downtown due to the concert, so that may delay transportation, or create longer wait times at bars/restaurants. Plan accordingly!

Findlay Market

1801 Race St., Cincinnati, OH 45202

We recommend going early Saturday or Sunday morning when all the shops are opening up. We love Deeper Roots Coffee, Cherbourg Cyprus Bakery (dedicated gluten free!), Rooted Juicery, and OTR Bagel Bar among others. Take the streetcar!

Rhinegeist Brewery

1910 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 381-1367

A block from Findlay Market, be sure to check out the rooftop bar. Danielle's pick: Wowie Colada Joe's pick: Truth IPA

Washington Park

1230 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 621-4400

Enjoy a walk around Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine, directly on the streetcar route, near historic Music Hall, and close to many shops, bars, and restaurants! The park includes a dog park, water features, a lawn and stage for events, and even a bar! There's almost always something going on, so you may run into a farmer's market, arts and crafts show, or something else!

Smale Riverfront Park

166 West Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202
, (513) 352-6180

Enjoy a walk along the riverbank and wave hi to Covington and Newport, KY!

Newport on the Levee

One Levee Way, Newport, KY 41071
, (859) 291-0550

If you are up for crossing state lines (literally right across the river from Cincinnati), the Box Park at Newport on the Levee offers a variety of food and drink options. There's also the Newport Aquarium, AMC Theatres, and more!

MadTree Brewing

3301 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45209
, (513) 836-8733

In the 'suburbs' of Cincinnati is our old stomping grounds- Joe worked at MadTree for over two years, and our first apartment together was in the complex right behind it! Joe's pick: Ramble On low-cal session IPA Danielle's pick: Shade tart fruit ale

Our other favorite spots

Bars/Restaurants near downtown: Bar Saeso (Pendleton/Over-the-Rhine) Bakersfield (OTR) Braxton Cincinnati (OTR) The Eagle (OTR) Goodfellas Pizza (OTR) Rosedale (OTR) Wodka Bar (OTR) Homemakers Bar (OTR) Nation (Pendleton) Hard Rock Casino (Pendleton) Maplewood Kitchen (Fountain Square) Pins Mechanical Co. (OTR) Taste of Belgium (The Banks and OTR) The Stretch (The Banks) Condado Tacos (The Banks) Sights + Attractions Cincinnati Museum Center (West End) The Freedom Center (The Banks) Cincinnati Zoo (Avondale) If you're up for adventuring outside downtown, we recommend: Urban Artifact Brewery (Northside) Listermann Brewing (Norwood - wave hi to Joe's alma mater, Xavier University) Jungle Jims Supermarket (Eastgate or Fairfield) Sweet Hunter Gelato (Mt. Lookout) And of course, if you want to be a 'real' Cincinnatian for a day, hit up a Skyline Chili or Graeter's Ice Cream (Joe recommends both. Danielle loves you all too much to let you eat Skyline and only recommends Graeter's).

For all the days along the way
