Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Paris Donohoe and Joe Comolli
Juneau is where we met back in 2013. Paris was attending the University of Alaska Southeast and Joe had just returned from basic training. Mutual friends brought us together that fateful 4th of July, when Joe blew up his hand in a firework mishap and Paris (along with Joe's fellow inebriated national guard buddies) tended to his wounds. We really should have taken him to the hospital... In Juneau, you can explore natural wonders like Mendenhall Glacier, take scenic rides on the Mount Roberts Tramway, go whale watching or fishing, and delve into history at the Alaska State Museum. Enjoy the downtown area for local food, art, and shopping. Below are links to some of our favorite spots.

Mendenhall Glacier

Juneau, AK 99801

See Nugget Falls here too! Apparently now you need a day pass to visit smh.

Mount Roberts Tramway

490 South Franklin Street, Juneau, AK 99801

Stunning views, food & drink at the top, cool history.

Alaska State Museum

395 Whittier Street, Juneau, AK 99801

Incredible collection of Native art and history of the land. This museum is objectively amazing, we absolutely recommend visiting.

Pel'meni

IYKYK!! If you’re hungry, go here. Open late too.

Sandpiper Cafe

429 West Willoughby Avenue, Juneau, AK 99801

Best breakfast downtown, change my mind! Pro tip: get there early before the wait time gets long.

Devil's Club Brewing Company

100 North Franklin Street, Juneau, AK 99801

Local brewery with great beer and tasty food. Our Meet & Greet will be held at their event space on Front Street.

Amalga Distillery

134 North Franklin Street, Juneau, AK 99801

Local distillery; vibes and delicious gin cocktails.

The Alaskan Hotel & Bar

167 South Franklin Street, Juneau, AK 99801

Historical, haunted, affordable. This is one of our favorite watering holes in town. Joe used to play live music here when he was drumming for The Psychotics.

High Tide Tattoo

204 North Franklin Street, Juneau, AK 99801

Need new ink? This is the spot. Joe & Paris and many of their friends have work from the artists at this shop. Huk Yuunsk / Dave Lang (owner) did Paris’ half sleeve and back piece.
