Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to come to the wedding?

Answer

We have all seen the destruction that COVID-19 has caused in this world over the past year and the health and safety of our loved ones is our number 1 priority. We strongly recommend that you be vaccinated against COVID-19 in time for our wedding. This means that you should receive the final dose of your vaccine at least 2 weeks before November 5th. At this time, we also ask you to provide a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the wedding, regardless of vaccination status. If you choose not to provide a negative COVID-19 test, we ask that you not attend our wedding, as the risk is far too great. Thank you!

Question

How do I know if I was invited to the ceremony and reception or just the reception?

Answer

If you received an invitation for both the ceremony and reception you are invited to both. If you just received an invitation to the reception, you are only invited to the reception. Please do not show up the ceremony if you were not invited as we have limited space at Michael’s Grandparents’ home.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we ask that you not bring a plus one unless it was previously discussed that you can bring one.

Question

If my child was invited to the ceremony can they come to the reception?

Answer

Consider the reception your night off!! While we love your kids we ask that you not bring them to the reception. Even if we invited them to the ceremony.

Question

Where can I park at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at Michael’s Grandparent’s home. Their home is in a residential neighborhood and there is very limited parking. We recommend you use a ride-share service to get to and from the ceremony location.

Question

Where can I park at the reception?

Answer

There are numerous parking lots within three blocks of The Lark: -Hotel Californian: 36 State Street, entrance to parking lot on Mason Street -Helena Avenue: Between E. Yanonali and E. Montecito streets -Santa Barbara Visitors Center: Corner of Garden Street and E. Cabrillo Blvd -Amtrak Train Station: Corner of State Street and W. Yanonali Street We encourage you to stay the night in Santa Barbara and ride share to and from your Hotel or Airbnb.
